start of poly life part 1

Hello! sudden urge to blog, 'cus I wanna remember all these that I've been through :) readin' through my past posts I realized that I tend to blog so that people see it. However as time passes, the true purpose of a blog(diary) is eventually for myself, to keep track of who am I throughout the years. :)

Gonna be quite a long post nonetheless.

So I kick off this post with the start of my poly life, April!
I got into Business & Social Enterprise, my 1st choice! Some people do say that I'm a fool because I could have go into business courses in business school, but I have to admit I'm kinda weird, I think elsewise. :O
I don't know how many of them out there actually believe it when I say that the reason for this course as my 1st choice is because the course is very meaningful, unlike those business courses which shows how cruel,sneaky,creepy,evil the world is, my course, BZSE in short, is not like them! The course teaches us how to set up business and help people! how meaningful right!! so why isit dumb to choose this course as a 1st choice!! helpin' out people yet you can earnin', one stone kill two birds isn't it!! Nonetheless I am glad that the month kicked off well with me meetin' alot of great special friendly coursemates! They are really nice!! Thanks to them, my poly life started well! :)

Throughout april and may, it was a lil' hard to cope with school. It wasn't very much like how you study in primary and secondary education. Tertiary education is more like self-study - like how most of the poly students will say.
This is very true!! in poly the lecturers don't guide you along side by side - unlike in pri and sec education where yknow you can always have a teacher to be there to help you! no more holdin' your hand and pull you along.
However not like we are not prepared, afterall our teachers did warn us that they are gonna let go of our hands soon enough. Thanks to them and some given 'time', eventually I think I somewhat grasp hold on the situation which I was in.

June, was awesome. - PHILIPPINES TRIP! :)
One of the best stuff you get from this course :P 2months only and we get to go overseas! cool or what!
It was a 5days trip, to Philippines Manila, - Fishing village @ Batangas!
The bus ride was hell comfortable btw fyi! I never slept so much on the bus before yknow!!!!
We visited afew places, like smokey mountain(moutain made of rubbish) quite a scene to see..
other than that we learnt alot of the way they live in the fishin' village...supposin'ly we were to stay in the village for 3-4days? but on the 2nd day we faced a disastrous scenario I swear. It was the worst scene I'd ever seen in my entire frickin' life. We took the bus to visit the mayor, the sky was already very unusual. It was orange, with the waves poundin' fiercely I swear it was bad.
When we finished visitin' the mayor and came back the weather was worst. dark orange sky, waves poundin' more ferociously than previous, and drizzling. the drizzle became heavier and heavier, and even heavier. slowly the sky turned dark and what's worst? the electricity went out.
The 1st time in my life I trembled from head to toe, seriously. I didn't know what to do esp. the moment our lecturers told us that we're evacuatin' from the place. seriously, evacuate? that ain't a good word to hear durin' a trip. we then went back to the family household that each of us lives in, and had our last dinner with them.
There were absolutely no lights, no fire, total darkness the moment you open the door or window etc. only a torchlight on your hand.
THEFUCKSERIOUSLY.
There were even limited torchlights in my household, we helped our family there to shine on the food that they were cookin' back then. The scene really changed my mindset. I swear that I heard deathcall. It's like you don't know whether you are gonna end your life there or what. HEAVIEST RAIN,NO ELECTRICITY,STRONG WAVES...
even if we managed to evacuate.....what about them? those livin' there..?
At that point of time, even till now I feel so useless, I mean, ok we are goin' to evacuate, and those who stay in the village? Get ready to die or if lucky, survive..?
seriously I thought that human beings are really... irresponsible and selfish.
But then again durin' reflection one of the lecturer did mention that we can't do much for real, our families would want us go get back safely too.

True enough, that's the least that we can do for them, to stay safe..
We then had our dinner with them and took pictures with them :)
......
The trips then continued w us visitin' different social enterprises in philippines and let us understand that each country have their different set of problems to be resolved, thou they've got more but that doesn't mean that we've got none.

Today is 16th March 2011
Here I am blogging for the sake of letting my future self know more about my past self :)

Time flies. Everytime when I blog I would type that :>
O lvls were over long ago. I received my results since awhile already :>
Not too bad, not extremely good either. But I am contented.

Over the past few months, alot of things had happened.
I worked for a few places, and know quite afew good colleagues. I was very glad. :)
Furthermore, I am going to be enrolled to Ngee Ann Poly in maybe a month's time?
Geeez, so much for longing to go poly when I was young, so to not wear uniform.
Maybe I should have went JC? Hopefully this question could be answered at the end of my 3years in poly :>

Friends, are all still with me, another thing to be glad about.
My SC friends esp, also my clique as well!
Yesterday I just met up with my NCC cliques, very glad to know that everyone of them were managing pretty well :>

Family, as usual. Hoping for some peaceful times thou.
One obstacle after another.

Today I went Ngee Ann to get my new laptop, afterwards had lunch at makan place with mom. While queueing up to buy my lunch, it reminded me of those days queueing up for food at canteen.
Such minor stuffs, like queueing up in sec sch canteen was enjoyable.
Because everytime when we were released for break in sch we would run down to the canteen like 3years old kids to buy food, cutting one another's queue!

Such days are really very joyful ones, but life have to move on.
Move along, there are even more events coming up next in my life.
Here I am, going to start on a new chapter of my story, my poly life.

Who knows when would be the next time I blogged? :>
Nonetheless I hope the future me could read this and think back of those days, during my secondary school ; those good ol' days. :)

Hello people!

I feel so old while I read my posts and my blog survived for 3years plus already!

Looking back to my old posts I think I am pretty much an emo boy :D

Haha!

Anyway I am reallyreallyREALLY glad that I have a blog! It really brings back all my past memories! Like my 2008 March post, it DID mentioned the whole 3day2night camp at NACLI! That is like so cool?! I read it and all the memories start coming back to me!

However, I still won't be active until my O levels have passed. :) I know it's sad for those who had supported me for the past few years :( LOLLLLLLLLLLLL kiddin' :)

Looking back to all my old posts I strongly feel that ageing is a fckedup process! >:D

But nevertheless it is essential in our lives, to learn and grow up during the process!

Alright, next week onwards everyday need stay back till 6pm, fuck yeah! haha!

Today, I witnessed the stepping down of the 6thHYSC. The 7thHYSC taking over.

I can't help but to think back those 5thHYSC days.

I saw alot of my councilmatessssssssssssssssss. so delighted okay. (:

5thHYSC days, so nostalgic, as always.

I wonder isit just me or what, hahha. Would I feel nostalgic when I grow up? hahha.

I have got no idea, but one thing for sure, I am missing those days NOW~

hahahha.

I always tell myself, "Don't be sad that it's over, be glad that it'd happened",

"Your eyes are in the front of your head so to remind you to always look forward, and not to look back"

BUT YOU KNOW~ Hahahha. If you were a councillor in the 5thHYSC, you will understand.

Especially when working together, enjoying camps together, playing together, getting scolded together.

Now when I see most of my juniors, I don't even know them. Which reminds me of those days when I was sec1, I don't recognize most of my seniors too.

Life is so funny in a way. When we're enjoying time always passes so fast.

Now, walking down our own different paths, I cannot ask to go back to those days, but I hope that the 5thHYSC will meet up often enough and share about our new experiences in life.

As for the 7thHYSC, they will definitely bring out the best individually and as a whole.

Because, it's the Hua Yi Student Council we're talking about here afterall. (:

Recently I am quite busy as usual, busy schooling!

But I am still a slacker in life, so whenever I've got a chance, I SLEEP!

Sleeping is really essential and hence, awesome.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. HOW I MISS MY HOLIDAYS.

Come to think of it, why would I get bored of my holiday last time! )):

Ahh, anyway, my classmates are working superuberhard, yet I am slacking like fcuk.

Say, I've been thinking for quite awhile, depending on my midyear exam results, I will decide whether to go JC or poly.

Haha, yo people. (:

3months have passed, and these 3months I was so occupied to the extend that I couldn't update. Pardon me.

Say, 3months sounds long, but it passed awfully fast.

Cut the nostalgic I suppose, haha.

These 3months I've been MIA-ing for various reasons, N levels, Job, Prom night, Bballing, outing with awesome friends,overseas.

Remembering my last post ended at prelims? Well, I've gotten my bursary for that, I think. *Proud*, haha.

N levels, yeah as imagined, it was tough. Well, I get myself to say the worst are over, cause that will never be the case in life. Insiders news told me that we will be getting results on 18th december, which is pretty demoralizing, since 19dec is my birthday. *sigh*

Pray for the best!

I immediately gotten a job thanks to weijie, many were asking me what job. So I will clarify myself once and for all, haha. The job was to assist our bosses, Ms tan and Mr SS. Khaw, helping them in all ways, including cashier, haha. It was one awesome experience that I could not forget. Though we need to travel to Eunos and take bus to our workplace, which is the Air Force Museum @ Paya Lebar early in the morning. Pri and Sec sch kids go over to the Air Force Museum(AFM) as my boss conducts workshop for them, we(Weijie and I) eventually becomes Mr. SS's righthand men. haha. Mr SS and Ms Tan are very nice people, and I am continuing to work for them along with weijie. The job's regarding Aeromodelling, theories.

Well, what a post I've got here, it's only half way thru. Haha.

Prom night was one short, yet long night, pretty contradicting huh?

Well, I met up with ben,za,zh at ben's house, and got all dressed up nicely, took cab and went to RASA sentosa for the splendid night.

The night everyone dressed formally,informally, overall = handsome lads and pretty ladies all around the place. Haha! Guys became all camera-(not) shy, and for the ladies, it's not necessary to elaborate more. Tch! Thanks to the 6th Student Council for all these wonderful memories too, sad to say I've not got a chance to take pictures with them. TCH! Once again, thanks guys!

After prom night was over, along with 15 sec4 SC[including me] we walked out of the place, rasa sentosa and 'ton' @ vivo. We thought we will get to some Mcdonald and chill out, guess what, there wasn't a 24hr place there, oh god. So we ton outside vivo. Slowly yet surely, we saw alot of Huayians walking towards the same place, and slacking together, it's like a Sec4 After Prom Camp! HAHAHA! The day ended as morning we walked to the train station and took train back to JP1 mac, to have HOTCAKES! I WAS STARVING FOR IT, SO ARE THE OTHERS !HHAHAHA!

What's next? Recently I realised that, I've bballed with kaixiong,yangmeng for 3years already, time sure flies huh suckers? haha. Let's continue to bball, thou I still sucks at it, tmd. Tch!

Last week I went oversea for cousin's wedding, haha. Met up with cousins and had a good chat. There's another one at Singapore, Hyatt Hotel this coming 13december, looking forward to it, as all my cousins will be gathered! Haha!

OBS gathering on 17th dec, *sigh* No idea whether I should go or not, well. Haha bros, if I ain't present, have fun yo.?

There were many outings as time flies, the days left with them, hope won't decrease? Haha, who knows right?

I miss those days we draw on the board in Student Council's room, vandalising school's table in classroom, CAMPS especially with them, be it NCC gheys or SCs. Staying up late to complete art assignments. Smile, getting scolded, cursing teachers,playing with them, having fun together.

But well, "Don't be sad that it's over, be glad that it have happened" I guess I always tell myself this.

This post may sounds ghey to some, if yes just f off. Tch, haha.

Teacher's day! Celebrated at school, nothing much :D

Went back pioneer, saw quite a number of friends.

the school have gotten way bigger O.O

sigh, primaryschool days.

Afterwards went out with clem wj shawn denard yuheng weiyang brenda and yenshan yingying yinshun to kfc.

Chitchat session, haha.

Went over to floraview, for bball, but too many people, so went ove to 812.

Jabez came afterwards. Played from 5-7 or so? then yinshun yingying brenda yenshan went home.

Weiyang left too, then went back to floraview to play from 7 to 8.

Awesome day, ought to blog this and share, haha.

Okay, so it's pretty long since I blogged. LOL!

Anyway, past 2weeks was prelim exam. Awesomely tiring. LOL!
Guess I've flunked quite a few subjects, well well~
Better work hard before the real thing, guess this prelim works as a wakeup call.

Seriously, nothing much to blog about,except nowadays going onto youtube to watch..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NELSON TAN WEN BIN.
yeah, that's the biggest i can go.

celebrated his birthday by going to play pool.
along with kx wl hw wjie koky,@ arena
waited for wl at interchange 1st, then i bluff the rest that me and kx go washroom,
cause kx reminded me whether to buy presents for him or not.
yeah. so, washroom.
raaaaan to jp afterwards to buy his presents! managed to get 2 presents for him.
but didnt give him straight.
so bus-ed to arena, reached there then his friends surprised him. LOL.
i dont remember all, but uhm. minghan,boonching,karjun,vivian,hsienhoon.
if i rmb correctly, cause xixi mentioned before their names.

so they got a cake for him, then played pool. me and birthday boy one team O.O
haha.
was very fun, then while he plays, i secretly put the present on the floor, the asked him to pick up his dropped stuffs. repeated twice, failed terribly caused he realised. LOL!.

so the day ended with pool, and bus-ed home today with the same people, minghan they all were still there. crapped while going back jp, then went on our seperate ways home.

Today was pretty awesome day.
Bball with kx,nel,yz from 9.30 till 12.
then received message from jiahua for art. SIAN.
so accompany nel and yz to kopitiam awhile, kx went home.

1pm ran off, 1.30pm met up with jh and zx for art.
2pm reached, siaaan. LOL. not even half of class. okay maybe half.
so do art lo, till 5pm. *faints*
try to finish canvas by end of this week. GOD.
MDM KEH said she'll try and help me. *happy*
Super glad luh.

Went home with jh and zx afterwards, crapped abit.
then reached home. E LEARNING. SH*T THAT. LOL!
no la, actually still okay, not that bad.

Friday Night if everything goes smoothly, should be able to go pool.

Yo! BACK FROM MALAYSIA. HAHAH!
DAMN FUN. LOL. despite that it is only 3day2night,1stand3rdday spend 6-8hrs on cars,
i still enjoyed it!

so 1stday reached, slack around with cousins.
2nd day, morning go see the bridegroom fetch the bride, lawl.
then sian liao, went back home, slack.
they came back, and waited.
in the meantime...
all the cousins including me(almost all) went over to that dinnerplace to decorate abit.
LOL. funny. i was like blowing balloon till almost died.
others were braincracking on how to deco the place. haha!
BTW. most of the time our transport is .. > cars which can stand at the back ones, those sorta like pickups. then me and some cousins like to stand up while the car is moving, and WOW, the wind is like so damn shiok i tell you.

So deco finish that place, went home slack. Slept for awhile, went out, took a pic or two with cousin yanyan. then change clothes~ Our group were the last to reach, the whole house like empty liao, left us. LOL. then rush there~ phew, had dinner.
Dinner was v. entertaining, since i was hungry, i kept on complaining to my cousin beside me. LOL. then crapped about those people on the stage ah, their singing etc.
IN THE END, the emcees forced me, my bro, and another cousin to go up the stage to sing.
yeah, we got no songs there, so instead.. we danced! LOL WTFZXCNV. haha!
damn funny one, so basically we're all really happy that day, otherwise why the heck would we go up and dance>?! LOL! yeah, and parents were laughing and busy taking pics.! GEE!

Finished dancing, then went back to eat. haha! all joking about the dance. So afterwards the bridegroom sang, then do yamseng etc. and TOOK PHOTOS again.
The day then ended.

Despite the fact that the place is pretty much kampong-liked, i LOVE that place. That 3day2night stay allowed me to enjoy so much is because i totally forgot about exams,test,schools! Seriously! until the 3rd day, all those school stuffs came back. DAMN!
ohya, 2nd day we also went to my GRANPARENT'S PLANTATION, to find durians. LOL. if i found the pic i will post it yo! damn cool one. even though i went for 15-16years already, this is the 1st time i blogged about the plantation, pretty cool huh?

3rdday. which is just going back to singapore.

December or earlier, i am sure to go back to that place~ It's one hell of a place to make sure you relax, chill out, and forget about STRESS~ hahah! No need all those computers,psp, those are inessential items over there. maybe just a tv, and a dvd for a bonding session!

RECENTLY, went malaysia for cousin's wedding, enjoyed it alot.
CELEBRATED bentan's birthday @ RI BEN CHUN, went there for the 3rd time.
RECENTLY again, there was this UG CAMPFIRE THING. the seniors enjoyed themselves!
ESP when playing basketball while the juniors cant play. LOL!
EVERYONE who have ordered the NCC&NPCC shirt have gotten it! NOTHING'S WRONG!

N lvl oral 2week later de monday,which is the 1st day of sch after elearning week.

Mrs Pan told us that, the days we left for Sec4 NA is gradually ending. Yes, it is true.
Not just for NA, i think. Express friends which I will be missing them like hell, secondary school life is ending. I will work hard to go up to SEC 5!

I will not bother people looking down on me anymore, NA so let it be! :D
My friends will work hard too, so i will not give up(:
Despite the fact that this N lvl thingy will be tough, but I won't be stopped by this obstacle.

'Learning to live in the present moment is part of the path of joy.' this quote motivates me to cherish everyday. Who knows, i might die tomorrow. But if i enjoy the present moment, i will die with no regrets.
There are no regrets in this world actually, if something good has happened, it's wonderful. if something awful has happened, it's experience.

gonna update, and it's might take quite a while.

Thur after school, 2pm went with weijie to sci centre to work.
2-5+ bah. whoosh, not that tiring la. haha. then afterwards went home lo, cause the next day still working, but duration is longer, since it's the actual competition for that work thing la.(helping out for their competitions)
so afterwards accompany weijie, went jp and met up with emily.
bought a school bag, finally. and ate at TORIQ! WHOOSH. nice! but before that accompany weijie to buy present, around 8pm then went home.

Fri worked from 9-4pm. whooosh, quite tiring bah. hahah, but not bad.
after work rushed down to jp to meet evan, bentan,weijian,zhuanyi,amanda,xinyi,cheekim and jiazhen they all to watch night at the museum 2. nice~
damn tired le, then accompany some to near library there eat sushi and gossip. TSKTSK.
till 11pm + then go home.

Sat! Sleep till damn shiok, then met up with weijie,emily,taoguang,kokyong,zhiyin,weilun,kahao and nelson to study. also wished zhiyin happy birthday. till around 6pm, from 2pm. phew!
then went to TORIQ to eat again! hahahahah! NICE~!
around 8pm then reached home, AGAIN! sigh!

TODAY!morning 9.30am played bball with kx,cl,ym,zy,yz,kh. around 12pm went off.
At 2pm, meet up with wl,cyrus,kh at je interchange to go chelveron.
Met up with some OBS friends from westspring, most of them idk. =.=
but well, they're fun~ Went to Chevelron's KTV ah, then outside the room got pool table, keep playing. fun. lmfao. 1dollar per game.
Most of them are good singers. hahaha! some of them like jiayi, kept on screaming, but was fun thou!(:
around 6.30pm went imm find place to eat, they sat down then kaixiong,kahao and i went home. so reached around 8pm, again and AGAIN! HAHA.
but the feeling was very nostalgic(: like 1year ago we were having a 5days camp together.
haha. because of this camp, we learnt alot of things, got to know alot of people.

yo! I found out the answer after yesterday's investiture.

So that's why I won't be sad that it's over, I will be glad that it have happened.
I should be glad that I've left, because I've learnt to cherish the council.

My OJT Friends, 10 of us, doing duties since sec1 till sec2.
halfway through, 15-17 of the others came in, supporting one another.
at 1st we don't quite like them, but soon enough, we have became one big family.
When we've got into sec3, long pants, our seniors left us,
lost, is the word.
Everything happened so sudden. We took over their roles as seniors,
leading the sec1 and 2. From followers we became leaders.
Thru camps, activities, duties we've become so bonded.
Esp DC DUTY. TSKTSK SHIJIE.

Time passes, 393days if I ain't mistaken, our turn to become followers again.
6th student council investiture 2009.
Becoming a leader is tough, but becoming a follower is even tougher.
But we'll manage it somehow.
Though we've quarreled, we've scolded each other when we're angry,
but we still have the job done well.
Choreographing dances, was part of a councillor's job. Idk why, but yah.
Doing skit too.
But nevertheless, it was fun.

All was very worthwhile.

tomorrow is the 6th Student Council Investiture.

i suddenly felt like posting after i saw a question from hasif's blog.

what will life be after stepping down?

many of us might be wondering, curious, excited, yet at the same time, hoping this don't come to reality.

Some may feel real happy, why not? it's alright to feel happy after all these hardwork, goodjob well done!

Some may feel sad, it's alright too i guess. After all the years spending in the council, and leaving,

why cant we not leave? Can this don't happen?

some may be extremely excited and at the same time, with alittle bit of nervousness.

Without the council badge, with the collar badge, will that be a very huge change in school?

i doubt so.

I think the reason I feel like posting, mostly because I'm feeling all those mentioned above.

Seriously with the badge for 4years, since secondary1, what really will happened after I stepped down? Will life still remains the same?

Will I be able to meet up with my council batch as frequently as before?

Will I be extremely sad after I stepped down?

Will I be contented with the new life I'll be leading?

Will the change tomorrow be so impactful that I'll never forget?

I'm very curious about what will actually happened,at the same time.

But nevertheless, I'm very contented to be able to spend my 4 years in council.

Some may say :" Wah congrats ah, finally free from all those sufferings, torturing."

But I don't really think that way, but instead I sometimes even wonder why they congrats me, I see no reason to do so.

Sorry if you think my post is like, keep repeating. I guess I just want to emphasize that I will miss the council.

then we went to shop for mother's day present.

Well, it've been quite awhile since i post something.
duh.

3rd of may already! So fast.
i thought last week was april fool.
wow.

3days break, labour day on friday, and weekends.
during this 3days parents weren't at home.
so my aunt accompanied me and my bro.

labour day morning, went to jp and have lunch.
then around 4.30pm played bball with kx, ym, kh, eddie, mh, yz, melvin and his 3friends.
then some left left left left, played till around 8.30pm then all gone.
changed court from art park to cage court.
lol cause art park alot of people.
dinner went to 815 kopitiam with ym and my bro.
chat till 12am.
then stay up till 3am - gb. LOL.
ym 3am thn go off.

saturday morning, breakfast at gekpoh.
around 2pm met up with kh at jp library, and coincidentally saw kx.
and zy also la.
then study, around 3.30pm zh amanda xinyi weijian cheekim came.

but around 5pm+ me wj kx zy got distracted.

around 6pm went to meet up aunt and bro, celebrate aunt's birthday.

Back from camp!

POP was great, threw our berets, did our push-ups.

NCC Camp was quite successful,since the objective was met, i think.
Our times had came to an end.
Those secondary 1 days, still remembering when arif and adone came in.

the 'ICE' we always ate. HAHAH!
the drills we did without complains, be it marching or turnings.

Those days when we hated some people so much! Gossip cause of the strenuous exercises? :D

otherwise my life would definitely be boring,

still remember last year hendi,yongzheng,emily,michelle,najmah and I were doing the 5thHYSC Investiture, it was like yesterday~
still remember Sec1OJT when doing duty for consecutive few months without fail and not bored of it.
still remember last year the speech at NACLI as juniors, and now as seniors, passing the baton already, so fast!
those days we spent together, is coming to the last chapter now.
And definitely it will be difficult for the coming new chapter of life.

28thApril2008 was our investiture.
The NACLI Camp that I just attended from 20-22thMarch2009 was one memorable one.
Dont know why our batch always so bonded, makes me feel so,awkward I will say, when we step down.
Last year's NACLI Camp we cried, this year, we cried again.
hahaha.
It really brings back memories when seeing the juniors doing stuffs together,crapping together,sharing the weal and woes together(:
reminding of those days.

Even though people out there says SC always do 'sai kang'
which is those jobs that are like shit.
but without us doing it, i guess everyone will die bah~
but we did not complain, but instead work even harder.
making me feel so united together as a council.
though we do complain at times,but we did not give up the jobs,because we knows it's our responsibility as a councillor.

Also suaning each other at times,for good for evil intention doesnt really matters,
because we always takes it in positively.
though some of us are always quiet, but also always active,
that is what makes us a whole, at least that's what i think.

Plan to fail is always a good thing,because people tends to focus too much on their perfect theory plan, but often not knowing what to do if the plan fails. Though plan to fail may sounds a little bit pessimistic, but it is actually very true.

i'm updating on the last day of new year! hahaha!
using my bro's laptop -.-

anyway.
new year was great.
collected enough money for me to last for 1month? LOL!
recently last friday i've invited some of my friends over my house for new year celebration.
well, at least that was the most significant event that happened during the past 2weeks.

i've invited kahao,weilun,kaixiong,nelson,evan,zhengyang,yongzheng,hongwei and eric.
these noobs better come my house and paint my room some other days.
LOL, played with my small basketball court, in my room. LOL!
on air-con had a opposite effect, instead of bringing everyone's temperature down,
we felt even hotter, because of snatching the basketball violently, though it's quite small.
yeah well.

played pokers without betting money, so eventually grew tired of it.
and good thing i told zy to bring ps2. LOL at least it entertained someone.
and alot of us brought out our psp to play :D
and food la~
mom's cooking is the best :D

Valentines' day is approaching. hahaha!

morning woke up late, dad wished me happy birthday.

since i'm like, quite free after camp,
let's blog about some stuffs.

basically Camp Pinnacle is a camp which gathers all the Unit Sergeant Major(USM) and the Assistant USM to enjoy a series of fun activities.

Throughout the camp, it is all about PSYCHO-ing us to sign on to the ARMY,NAVY,RSAF.
sign on means that you continue servicing the nations even after National Service.
The things they offered are rather tempting.
especially the RSAF.
but well, my eye degrees are 500+ 600+
i drive the plane sure crash.

I got the chance to ride Charlie 130, which is a plane for transporting people around.
it was superb!
i even got the chance to walk around the plane and look down.
it's not like normal plane flight,
C130 when it turns, everyone will feels it, same goes for when it moves up and down.

When i visited the Navy, i didnt got the chance to take the ship, 1 is because of bad weather,
the other was because of time constraint.
well it's okay, i dont really like ships though.

Camp Pinnacle's best part was because of my platoon that makes everything seems so fun.
Our Company(meaning different platoons merging together) consist of all guys, no ladies.
so we were QUITE naughty in a way that we had fun which we cant have with ladies around.

My Platoon is named Hotel 1.
I met few of my Senior Specialist Course friends and Specialist Course friends.
it was not boring, definitely not.
okay, maybe yes. for the 1st day.

it was time to prepare for Camp Pinnacle night.
We thought that we're only performing for guys, so we had a funny gay skit(gay means gay, not happy for this)
bloodyhell, it was super funny!
but on that particular day of Camp Pinnacle Night, we realised that we're doing the performance in the auditorium with both Company Hotel and Juliet.

well, we performed, and we won. (:
juliet company consist of some ladies.
and last day of the camp we even threw almost all the Sirs up in the sky.
I guess we did that because knowing that this might be the last camp in our NCC life.
we really appreciated it alot.

on the last day of camp me and adone rushed to sch,
okay he rushed to school 1st, i went home bath and pack stuffs.
for the Hua Yi NCC Camp.

i just came back from there.
the camp was also very fun.
funny too.
LOL.
thought the seniors didnt really participate much,
but as long as they enjoyed themselves in someway,
i think it's fine already.

tomorrow ncc training.
the day after having the heritage marathon thing,
just for the NE badge.
sunday still need help mrs chin.
monday watching movie with pri sch friends.

just this year already enough camp/event shirts liao lo.

finally back from the camp!

enjoyed alot?
DEFINITELY!

why?
because i made new goood friendly funny friends
and bonded well enough
learnt alot new things
and accomplishing it at the same time.

LIM JIAN RI had accomplished the OBS 5-days course.
wah, that cert, see le wanna cry le ! hehe.

before i start, my cook watch consist of ..

Xiaoxuan,SzeKim,Judith,Jiaqian,Des,Candy,Nelson,Macs,
lastly, me~

they're incredible peeps :D

alot of things are played, and learnt.
blade of grass, learnt to gain more trust from new friends.
trust fall also~
Belaying, to do belay on someone doing a high element activity.
Communication is really required in belaying, otherwise
the person doing high element activity might just die XD

Tent pitching, learn it the hard way, haha.
it's quite mafaaaaaan, but it's OBS what!
haha

Learn learn learn, then cooked for day one!
okok la, 1st day the rice was quited well cooked..

day 2 we had land exhibition, but before everything,
we need to unpitch the tents and bring along to everywhere we go
heavy -.- like woke up at 5am+ slept at 12+
tested alot on endurance?
after the long heavy walk

reaches camp1,
where all the facilities are very nice, compared to camp2.
but we still sleeps on tent -.-
the main purpose was to learn how to kayat.
i partnered with candy

haha nice name eh?
then did capsize drills, and rescue drills with valerie and szekim

after quite a while, ended kayaking and starts pitching tents, again.
it was not long, before NELSON'S BIRTHDAY
i WAS..
sleeping BESIDE him. hehs.
but that day i too tired, so i hit him once and slept.
that day dinner was nice?
yeah.
it was cater by the obs peeps, not we ourselves cook. haha.
after that we played a game called foodchain?
ya.
very fun, all of us including 2other groups played with us.
we was running around the whole camp1 :D

some still cheat!

the day then ended peacefully,
i taught valerie and beatrice how to play the ncc game :D

the night we slept near the sea, but no wind -.-

at camp1 i saw a quote very meaningful, it goes like this.
man cannot discover new oceans unless he has courage to lose sight of the shore
losing sight of shore can allows you to find new oceans,
but you got the problem of getting lost,
do you dare?
same thing for normal lives.
you cannot discover new things and continues to the future,
until you have the courage to lost sight of the past.
because there are time you need to let go.

zavier slept very early and snoring very loudly!hahaha.

at night sleep lo, i woke up at 1.30am cause keep getting bitten la.
then went into tent woke nelson up, paiseh ah.
took the snake powder put put put, and sleep .
3AM WOKE UP AGAIN.
for sentry duty.
my definition of sentry duty = sit at the fire and wait till times up.
i woke up at 3am and stayed up the whole day
with a few peeps la.
then talk talk chat chat
haha, westspring people are really niceeeeeeeeeeeeeee la!
friendly and fun.

then 5am go wake others up ,
saying it's 5.30am already.
i was time ic for the last time, haha.

woke up, unpitch tent, eat breakfast,load backpack,load kayak,
and lastly briefing again.
chiooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong ah!HAHAHA!
damn fun la, sea exhibition2,
alot of things happened along the way.
like i was telling candy to pedal right while shouting left!
then got sunburnt, ALOT OF PEOPLE WAS EATING,
WHILE KAYAKING! HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAA

i was eating ovaltine and milo powders.
nelson most smart, he bring tuna! LMFAO
smart boy la! hahahaha
and the tuna was nice, especially in those circumstances!
then very tired la! very long lei! 4hrs+ maybe?
after that reaches camp1 ! HOORAY! hahaha
IMMEDIATELY WENT TOILET,
then went for lunch.
hehe.

after lunch rest awhile in shelter before trekking back to camp2.
because it was raining.
i played with the campsticks lo.
then finish raining we carry on.
jialat, heavy.
but my groooooooup was great!

they was singing and cheering, really lightens my burden of the weight.
especially the tent, haha.
thaaaaaaaaaaanks.

reaches camp2 everyone was HYPER
cheer cheer cheer
hehe.
then do other things like setting up tents,
cleaning up stores.
superb.
cause we're fast?

dinner was great, because it was out last dinner.
sian.

got everything you want ah!
rice, noodles, CHRYSANTHEMUM instant noodle
MILO instant noodles.
rocks man~ hahaha.

at the end we washed everything.

i helped valerie with the washing of pots eh?
we went to the instructors,
then ask how to wash la.
they say use sand and detergent
then valerie use one spoon, at 1st dontknow who's de.
then she scoop up the soil, asking me can anot,
same thing bah, haha.
scoop lo, pour into the pot.

walk back to the washing place, then went back with her
THEN walk back again for the detergent -.-
after that mixed them up.
looks..ya..

here comes the funny part -.-
we both showed it to macs, saying it's curry, wan try?
he said to nelson,
"we each take a bit?"
LOL
both of us take the pot and run away sia! lmfao
incase he really eat! hahahhahaha!
but in the end still cannot wash it.
hahah.

the night i slept real well, ok maybe not so well.
wanted to sleep on poncho again, suggested by macs.
but he was sicked, so ya. quite a pity lo.

last day, we unpitch the tent as usual.
then went to store help.
help till 7.30am
went to find naf.
naf started pt as usual.
and ya, was fun, as usual. hahah.
then wait for peeps

play game 1st, one is virus game, the other is hellokitty game.
hahah, very funny games.
then we sit in our morning circle as usual, but for the last time.
we chat and talk about things happened during these 5days.
i think all of us really enjoyed the camp.

then pass out certificates

after that we played trust dive.
a game which is very meaningful.
i heard how everyone wants to make changes to lives.
it's very nice, heartwarming even?

lastly we went to do the freaking store.
alot of things got stolen -.-
nvm dont talk about the unhappy part.

after the store check thingy, we rush back to the place

then everyone gathered there le.
buy souvenier etc
and finally, goodbye

it's really a enjoyable camp,
maybe a different camp compared to other camps.
such as pitching own tents.
the thing i cherished the most for this camp,
would be friendship(:
cause without them i think the camp would be boring,
no matter how fun the activities are.
so ya.
