Growing up series :)

Hello! sudden urge to blog, 'cus I wanna remember all these that I've been through :) readin' through my past posts I realized that I tend to blog so that people see it. However as time passes, the true purpose of a blog(diary) is eventually for myself, to keep track of who am I throughout the years. :)

Gonna be quite a long post nonetheless.

So I kick off this post with the start of my poly life, April!
I got into Business & Social Enterprise, my 1st choice! Some people do say that I'm a fool because I could have go into business courses in business school, but I have to admit I'm kinda weird, I think elsewise. :O
I don't know how many of them out there actually believe it when I say that the reason for this course as my 1st choice is because the course is very meaningful, unlike those business courses which shows how cruel,sneaky,creepy,evil the world is, my course, BZSE in short, is not like them! The course teaches us how to set up business and help people! how meaningful right!! so why isit dumb to choose this course as a 1st choice!! helpin' out people yet you can earnin', one stone kill two birds isn't it!! Nonetheless I am glad that the month kicked off well with me meetin' alot of great special friendly coursemates! They are really nice!! Thanks to them, my poly life started well! :)

Throughout april and may, it was a lil' hard to cope with school. It wasn't very much like how you study in primary and secondary education. Tertiary education is more like self-study - like how most of the poly students will say.
This is very true!! in poly the lecturers don't guide you along side by side - unlike in pri and sec education where yknow you can always have a teacher to be there to help you! no more holdin' your hand and pull you along.
However not like we are not prepared, afterall our teachers did warn us that they are gonna let go of our hands soon enough. Thanks to them and some given 'time', eventually I think I somewhat grasp hold on the situation which I was in.

June, was awesome. - PHILIPPINES TRIP! :)
One of the best stuff you get from this course :P 2months only and we get to go overseas! cool or what!
It was a 5days trip, to Philippines Manila, - Fishing village @ Batangas!
The bus ride was hell comfortable btw fyi! I never slept so much on the bus before yknow!!!!
We visited afew places, like smokey mountain(moutain made of rubbish) quite a scene to see..
other than that we learnt alot of the way they live in the fishin' village...supposin'ly we were to stay in the village for 3-4days? but on the 2nd day we faced a disastrous scenario I swear. It was the worst scene I'd ever seen in my entire frickin' life. We took the bus to visit the mayor, the sky was already very unusual. It was orange, with the waves poundin' fiercely I swear it was bad.
When we finished visitin' the mayor and came back the weather was worst. dark orange sky, waves poundin' more ferociously than previous, and drizzling. the drizzle became heavier and heavier, and even heavier. slowly the sky turned dark and what's worst? the electricity went out.
The 1st time in my life I trembled from head to toe, seriously. I didn't know what to do esp. the moment our lecturers told us that we're evacuatin' from the place. seriously, evacuate? that ain't a good word to hear durin' a trip. we then went back to the family household that each of us lives in, and had our last dinner with them.
There were absolutely no lights, no fire, total darkness the moment you open the door or window etc. only a torchlight on your hand.
THEFUCKSERIOUSLY.
There were even limited torchlights in my household, we helped our family there to shine on the food that they were cookin' back then. The scene really changed my mindset. I swear that I heard deathcall. It's like you don't know whether you are gonna end your life there or what. HEAVIEST RAIN,NO ELECTRICITY,STRONG WAVES...
even if we managed to evacuate.....what about them? those livin' there..?
At that point of time, even till now I feel so useless, I mean, ok we are goin' to evacuate, and those who stay in the village? Get ready to die or if lucky, survive..?
seriously I thought that human beings are really... irresponsible and selfish.
But then again durin' reflection one of the lecturer did mention that we can't do much for real, our families would want us go get back safely too.

True enough, that's the least that we can do for them, to stay safe..
We then had our dinner with them and took pictures with them :)
......
The trips then continued w us visitin' different social enterprises in philippines and let us understand that each country have their different set of problems to be resolved, thou they've got more but that doesn't mean that we've got none.

Alright better stop here, maybe tmrw I'll continue part2, poly exams and holidays! :)
